| I would go with AMD. I don't feel like paying twice the price for a 20% increase in performance.

no, the q6600 is better than any offering in the same price range as amd.

An Intel is better than an AMD in the same pricerange in every possible way, over-clock friendly, speed, etc.

You'd better buy an Intel.
more overclock-friendly, better performance.
but they are a lot more expensive 
so if you have got the money, go for Intel, otherwise buy AMD

lol, just trying to make a lil bit money on the side. Just go all up to Quad. There are newer ones coming out, I've been out for a long time though. I think it was called Denebale or something.

HURR DURR I'M A FANBOY USING STRAIGHT OUT LIES TO PUSH MY BRAND PREFERENCE.
Intel gives better price/performance at almost any price point, especially when overclocking comes into play.

Why "lol" at it when it is true/he is right?
Intel is not more expensive if you go the expensive/performance ratio.
Okay,okay maybe an AMD Quad-Core is cheaper than Intel Quad-Core, but are they the same? You can't compare the prices of a pound of apples and a pound of dirt.

Tha't the price for the us consumers, but according to another forum.
One person got the hook up cause he got connections and he got that for half the price... around $500 *cough* employees discount *cough*
