Get 4GB or 2GB of ram not 3GB - uneven numbers are just buggy.

Meh - I just don't like odd numbers, mainly because the ram set up will be unbalanced. Eg - You have four slots and 3 1GB sticks that means that one channel will be running 2GB and the other 1GB. Seems kinda gay.

Wrong, uneven amounts of RAM are fine (gb), as long as you have an even amount of sticks ( like 4 sticks of RAM that total up to 3gb)... but if it is 3x 1gb sticks... it is a bad idea...

This is what I mean. Odd numbers of ram usually result in uneven amount of sticks. But anyway - yea, I meant uneven amount of sticks.

Ah okay. I was thinking of getting 3gb ( 2x 1gb and 2x 521mb, aka 3gb) to put into my case because i thought 4gb would be too much of an overkill.
