I want to learn C++ Gui Programing. I used to use VisualBasic and in VB there is like VB6/VB.NET then the variations from 2005-2008. So there is just 1 version of C++?

You won't be making GUI progs in C++ for quite some time. You'll need to learn the basics with the console first, then go on from there.
