Just came up with two budget builds for myself.

AMD

Total Price w/ S&H: 397.85$ USD

Optical Drive.
HDD.
Case. + Power Supply combo
2x2GB Ram
CPU + Motherboard combo deal

Intel

Total Price w/ S&H 423.93$

Optical Drive.
HDD.
Case. + Power Supply combo
2x2GB Ram
CPU + Motherboard combo deal.

Any suggestions?

only thing i would suggest is use the DVDRW from your current machine and spend a bit more on a bigger HDD

about OCing i don't know how hot AMD chips run so i couldn't say

HDD will sufice, I have an external HDD that holds all my personal data.
I usually never pass 50gigs at any one time on an internal HDD unless I torrent like a fiend.

I was wondering what would be a nice ATI grafics card to use on this build. I was thinking intergrated might do it for me... but maybe not.

This 3850 looks alright.

Updated with new stuff and added a budget Intel Build.

Managed to cut the price of the AMD build by 100$ and make it better yet.

Om nom nom. Thanks. But I prefer instant rebates as opposed to mail in.

I'll keep it bookmarked, though.
