only 2.4 GHz?
Dude... my computer is dual core and it has 2.8 GHz.
Maybe get a better CPU, but i'd say it's a good deal with the price/applications ratio.

OMFG, what are you guys talking about.
I just built a computer for my friend for 350€.
Dualcore 2.5gHz (very clockable).
8800GT
2gb ram (only he needed cuz he use xp).
Too damn expensive.

| 350 Euro is like 500 USD. Wtf? Dualcore 2.5Ghz < Quad-Core 2.4 Ghz. 2 GB ram sucks, at least get 3GB. Only thing good is graphics card, but that can easily be upgraded from 8500 GT to 8800 GT with 100 USD.
