u know you can right click on a file and it shows options?
well did u every want to add your own option for every file or a specific file extension?

well in this tutorial you can add your own!

Should work in XP And Vista but just in case, backup your registries.

anyway back to the tutorial

First open regedit
then goto:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>SOFTWARE>>Classes
after this you should see many extensions and a * folders
if you want to see this for every extension goto * else go to the extension you want(or if it's not there create ur own.)
after you went into the file you should see a file called "Shell"
if you dont see it create it then create another key file inside called whatever you want it to say.
after that create another key inside it and call it command.
after that goto command and where it say's (Default) double click it and write:
"File location" "%1"
where it says File Location add the location of the file you want to open it with

%1 means to open it will all the data


this has been tested before and works, the program is colored and user friendly.

this is usefull if you dont want to always open notepad then click File>>Open then look for it.

or for any other programs.

In a later release i will add the option of saving the file as a .reg so anyone can open it.
