I am totally lost when it comes to hardware so I`m wondering if the GeForce 8600GT is any good? Is it good for gaming? And I`m also wondering if this INTEL Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz, 6MB cache CPU is any good?

Currently ive got a 8600GS and im pretty happy with it You cant run games as crysis at max or medium but for the rest its pretty good I can play BF2142 on highest and cod4 at medium _________________ Ego vos irrumabo et confutuabo

8600 is not a good option, I'd say you should save up for a hd3850 if you can't afford the 8800gt.

It's not price worthy. Add 30 bucks and you have a GPU which'll hold for more than 6 months.

Also, e8400 is a very good CPU.
