True, which leads me to wonder. If peter absorbs powers of those around him, does he also steal powers that Sylar has stolen? |
Yes, this has already been proven when Peter copied Sylars telekinesis. |
Oh, right. Sorry, I keep thinking Sylar's original was telekinesis, I forgot it was the ability to quickly understand how things work.
Though it leads me to wonder, while Peter gets them by being around them, Sylar actually sort of absorbs it somehow. So perhaps Sylar can use the power to a greater extent than Peter. |
I wonder, the extent to which an ability can be used depends greatly on the user. It does seem that people who have their own ability, develop a next level in their ability rather quickly. I do not know to what extent Peter can go, since he merely copies the ability instead of Sylar who, as you so eloquently put, takes them in.
A real perdicament... the third season will surely put our minds at ease in terms of questions. |
Doubtful, it will surely just raise more.
About Adam, can healers like him and Claire live past suffocation?

I wonder, I don't hope so in Adams case. It would be utter torture to be stuck in a coffin all alone for god knows how long.
EDIT: I believe that as long as the bodies natural flows aren't disrupted by outside entities (like Claire and the stick in her neck) he should be able to survive. And even when dehydrated or deprived of oxygen, he should simply "recover" as soon as the damaged body comes into contact with either water or oxygen. I think time is the most relevant factor here. The longer the body is "dead", the more damage will be done to it until it is irreversible.
