I think you guys a too retarded to understand the concept of a lucid dream, even if you are totaly aware of what you are doing, and that you understand that you are dreaming, things can goes wrong.
As an example, I was having a lucid dream and I met my grand father ( whom is dead) and for some reason that are too long to explain it was extremely scary even if he was just standing in front of me just like if he was alive.
So I told to myself; you're dreaming sam, you can make him go away if you wish to, but he was still in front of me. Then, I though I could just wake up, but I was unable to.
Even though I was frightened, I told him that I knew I was dreaming, and that he was fictionnal, and I asked him if he could just go away because I was very scared. He told me that he had something he wanted to tell me, but it's ok if I was scared, and he just walked away.
So, I controlled the dream in a way because I made him go away, but if I had a total control over the dream, I just wouldn't have seen him.

You do realize people have actually died from sleep paralysis, right?
| Quote: | | In Hmong culture, sleep paralysis describes an experience called "dab tsog" or "crushing demon" from the compound phrase "dab" (demon) and "tsog" (crush). Often the sufferer claims to be able to see a tiny figure, no larger than a child, sitting on his or her chest. What is alarming is that a vast number of American Hmong, mainly males, have died in their sleep prompting the Centers for Disease Control to create the term "Sudden Unexpected Nocturnal Death Syndrome" or "SUNDS" for short. |
The EXACT same shit happened to me, but the small entity came in the form of a Gremlin-like creature.

Yes, if , as an exemple, you dream that you fall from a plane in a lucid dream, when you'll it the ground it is possible that you really die, sleeping in your bed. Total control? yea...

You need to find your guide prior to doing anything else in a lucid dream. That should be your #1 priority when you have this experience.

I remember having quite a few dreams when I was falling.
I always woke up before I hit the ground though.

You need to find your guide prior to doing anything else in a lucid dream. That should be your #1 priority when you have this experience. | I still did not enter the lucid dream but i know that sleep paralysis is scary and since i already knew how i feels without being in paralysis i ignored it btw it felt like i was being held by something. |
If you are closer to being awake than you are to sleeping, you'll have freaky hallucinations. They have NOTHING to do with lucid dreams.
What I meant with "find your guide" was that you need to find the entity that is there in almost EVERY dream you've ever had and request it's guidance. Some claim it is your subconscience, and it knows every little detail about you. It can come in any given form or shape for any person, but once it has a shape for you as a person, it rarely changes.
... once you have a lucid dream ofcourse.
