while(pause)
Sleep(10);

to pause LOL

if pause = false; it unpauses!

And how exactly do you expect to pause equal False while your program is trapped within an infinite loop. The only option is to create a new thread, which is probably worse than system.

yah diff thread.. and i was trying to make a joke rofl.

thats how pausing is done in VB6 LOL.. but they use instead of sleep.. DoEvents to process the message queue to stop all the freezing up it does from not processing like WM_PAINT etc..
