Cheat Engine

hello,
i just pruchased my samsung 22 inch series 4.
each time im running my pc on it, it works fine, until when i open any game it would pop up"mode not supported" any suggestion?.

grahpic card: gigabyte nvidia 8500gt 512mb.
1 gb ram
3.06 ghz.
windows xp.
and the resolution is 1680 x 1050 (60ghz fresh rate)

ps. been googling for hours and didnt seem to help.

Have you checked that the game support the currently resolution?

it happens to all games >.< even maplestory,cs and star wars. Very Happy

Have you checked that you haven't locked your resolution? As im pretty sure maplestory can't run in 1680x1050.

how do i check if i havnt unlocked my resolution?

EDIT: tried the other resolution and still dosnt work.

@*#ing waste of money.

It can be your graphics card, because I've seen that error before. Do you have an old graphics card?

got it a few months ago, but it can support the resolution.

Have you messed around with your monitor's settings?

Just explore using the little buttons on your monitor.

Your monitor might have come with 'drivers' which basically dictates what resolutions you can use. Your video drivers should also be able to detect this properly, at least ATI's do.
