Turn your system off completely and then turn back on. Once you turned it on press the F8 key. If you done it correctly, you should see a list of options such as Safe mode, Last know good configuration, start windows normally and so on. One of them will say "Disable on automatic restart". Select that one to pause on the BSOD to see what's causing it.

I think this how I did it, but I don't remember correctly.

Firstly, turn off everything associated with your computer.
And turn off the Power Supply switch too and unplug the cord from it.
Wait 15 seconds or so, now, plug the cord back into the Power Supply.
And then, turn on the Power Supply switch.

Now, turn on your computer and see what happens.
If nothing goes wrong and there are no issues, awesome! Smile

EDIT:

By the way, if you were infected with a virus, then, I don't think my suggestion would help as you would have to resort to formatting your HDD instead.

Funny you should mention that problem, well this chick i know was having the same issue BSOD>Restart>LOOP well i dont know about your situation but on hers there was a virus in her computer a real nasty one, i tryed everything in my power to get rid of it all techniques and what not but as a result of this virus that was on her computer FORMAT>CLEAN INSTALL OF WINDOWS maybe different in your situation though

Btw this virus did:
Store start up registry keys everytime you tryed to delete them they would restore somehow?

Disabled windows installer/policys even if you got them back on the virus took over shut em down

That made it so i couldn't install any software because of the policys so couldnt get a antivirus to work plus the computer owuld BSOD instantly or under a minute somewhere

Couldnt do system restore because of BDOS

Couldnt do last known config

a real nasty fackin virus dunno who made it i forgot what it was called

Did you try last known good config? This happened to me last week, that fixed it for me.

Most "viruses" like that are made by script kiddies. Add themselves to the start-up list as a service with a driver. The driver just bug checks the system with a valid error code. Or, there are some people who made their rootkits and somehow they malfunction because of an invalid hook or something and you get a BSOD everytime you start up.

You have to shut down your whole system and once you power it back on, keep on pressing the F8 key to get those options.

When pressing the F8 key you don't just hold down on it, you must pound it.

BTW: Are you using Vista?

If you are then insert your Vista Disc and run a repair, the CD should automatically fix tthe errors for you.

I'm using XP home and I'm 100% sure this isn't a virus.
No matter what mode I choose (safe mode, last good configuration etc.) it flashes the blue screen for a millisecond and restarts.
And pounding f8 doesn't help cause this is the same screen that I get anyway.
I think I have to remove my hd and slave it onto another computer, get my files off, and then reinstall xp.
