Load temperature is running a CPU intensive task, for example, games like Crysis and World In Conflict. You can use CoreTemp to check your temperatures, or similar applications. Just Alt+Tab out (or the Windows key/Task Manager if that doesn't work) and use the temperature readings. The best way would be too run the game/CPU intensive application in windowed mode.

Power/Aux Temperature : 123 °C
Hard Disk Temperature Maxtor 6Y120L0 : 38 °C

Those are my temps on average I'd say. I don't know any CPU intensive applications, and I'd rather not download something big like a game. Care to recomend any?

Prime95, SuperPi, and other synthetic benchmarks should seriously strain your processor. They're pretty light in size too.

Regularly, to 1 million (1M) digits should be enough time for you to record your temperatures. It should take from 15 seconds to 1 minute.

His computer probably uses an OEM-distributed heatsink-only CPU cooling solution. One of those cheap/next to free small ones. It's possible that there's dust in the heatsink.

Before you want to overclock, you'll need to provide more temperature headroom. Your CPU is most likely going to increase in temperature, and right now, you're at the limit.

I've heard that the Power/Aux readings on the P5P800 are extremely off, it ranges from -40C to 125C.

I clean the inside of my computer every few months, but there are some places I can't get, and others I was afraid too. I just did a huge cleaning in there and it brought my CPU temp down A LOT! I'm actually at 33C which is extremely low compared to normally. Do you think now I might be able to overclock? (AUX still always says 123C).

Edit: Now when I did Super PI to 2M digits the highest my CPU went was 47C. =)

You could try lapping the CPU as well, I've seen some great results from it (around 10~15c)
