Hey x0r, I've personally taken my girlfriend on a romantic getaway in New South Wales. It's always nice to rent a little cottage or something in Blue Mountains, here's a few places I'd recommend:

This place does a full romantic set-up for you:
* Be escorted to a room that has been set up to provide a stage for romance and seduction. Enter your candlelit room, with soft background music, and rose petals scattered across the bed and in the bathroom

* Have exotic bath and toiletry products waiting in the bathroom, and we will even run the bath for you
* Breakfast in bed for two

This place is pretty nice and clean, doesn't have that canopy you requested, but it is pretty romantic if you ask me. Has a indoor spa that faces the mountains with an amazing view, access to the balcony that's just incredible to look over.

It's very romantic having your own little cottage, has a fireplace, spa on the varandah, and of course a bed with a canopy. It's decent priced and I'd highly recommend it for a romantic weekend getaway, if that's what you're going for.

I wish you could luck to find an apartment, unfurnently (I think I failed on spelling it >_<) I live in sweden and dont know any of the aussie sites.
I hope ppl will be as nice and do not take the editor as a gift.
Apartments should be free IMO o.o
