i bought one of these and tried to put it in my dell dimension 2350, but it didnt fit into the slot. so i carefully cut the bottom so that it fits into the 1 slot thingy, but now it wont work. what happend? did i cut it wrong?

plz help me thank you

You are supposed to open your computer, slide the card VERTICALLY into the slot, then close your computer and plug your monitor into the card.
What you did just blew the $ you payed for that card.
