Im not asking for a gaming pc... i dont give a fuck to look cool with the best graphics available all i want to do is play my mmo's without lag... i dont like shooters, nor do i like HL2 (plus i own that game on the 360). Crysis doesnt even look appealing. Ill probably go with the build i came up with, with the mobo suggested from super Very Happy. but i am open to suggestions as long as they are around 400$~

It would be wise if you told us what kinda mmo's, if it just tibia or runescape you can basically just play it on a rock.

a 1.8ghz - radeon 9550 512mb - 1gig ram, would actually be enough.

i disagree, right now i have a 2.0ghz single core, 1gig ram, radeon 9600 256mb, and well lunia lags like hell and i can only play requiem at a reasonable fps on low settings.

Here's what I came up with

AMD Phenom X4 Agena 9600 @2.3GHz Quad Core retail
$205.98 -$20.00 instant -$35.99combo (on some 2GB wristlet flash drive a free gift from AMD) final price: $149.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103244

Asus M3A78-EMH HDMI retail $89.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131273

G.Skill 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz retail package $84.99 -$40.00 instant
final price: $44.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231098

Sapphire HD3650 512mb retail $59.99 ($49.99 after $10 mail in rebate)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102726

Apex MicroATX case with 300watt powersupply $39.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154079

Sub total: $384.99
Shipping: $ 25.21
Tax: $ 34.33

Final Total: $444.49

Note: Assuming you got other components because there is no optical drive, hard drive, and operating system. And since you play online RPG, your connection speed is also a factor. You can have the best machine in the world, but if you got poopoo 56k dial-up then forgot about it.

First off, I'm sure 300W won't cut it for a quad core and a dedicated video card. I would not recommend getting a Phenom, the Q6600 provides a slightly better price vs. performance ratio. You can find a similar, if not better motherboards at the same price. If you are going to get a Phenom, get one with the TLB bug fixed (9x50 series). For the combo deal, it would have been better to get the free RAM than the AMD gift.

Indeed the 300w won't cut it, as for the AMD TLB bug I've heard about it, but never really bother to do further research. Everyone these days wants Intel so what's the point? And similar to AMD before the Core 2 arrived.

Another thing was he set a price of $400 so that's why I went with AMD which they had a cheap quad core (A bugged quad).

Snowfox,

for AMD AllPCZone

this Store worked great for me and dozens of friends. let me know how you feel. I based it on your $500 request.
