| I need a decent computer that actually can run COD4 above 40fps constantly. And my budget is 1,5000usd, if there are any possibilities to actually lower my budget to save myself some bucks, im more than gladly to hear your opinions. (A new computer from scratch in other words, with tower as well)

Um... maybe start tweaking so you pay less?
Maybe try tweaking everything except for the CPU, RAM, and well maybe the hard disk.
However, you do get what you pay for .
So if the fan is not good and ur CPU blows up, then byebye.

My computer is tweaked to the max, been having it for like 5yrs now?
This is what i actually think about, it wouldn't cost much :]
Tower/chassi:AS-X-Cruiser
CPU:AM2 Dual-Core X2 6000+ 3,0Ghz
Motherboard: MSi NForce560 DDR2 SATA2 GBL
RAM: 8GB DDR2/667MHz (4x2048Mb)
Graphic: GeForce 9800GTX 512MB GDDR-3 HDTV
DVD: DVD+/-RW 20x DL (DVD-Brännare)
HD: SAMSUNG 750GB SATA2 32MB 3Gb/s
networkt: 10/100/1000 integrerat LAN
sound: Integrerat ljud 8,1
I would land 1300-1450usd. 8gb ram :/ I dunno if its really worth getting so much but thats what they offer

For gaming, 4 GB RAM would be good enough, but to run stuff like ps on your computer, you would want 8GB.
And i think that's a good deal myself.

That's a pretty good build. The AMD processor is pretty good, but if you're an overclocker, I would recommend an E7200, or a CPU from the Pentium Dual Core series. You would also be able to step up on the motherboard (P45 or nForce 700). 2GB of RAM is good enough for gamers, 4GB is enough for heavy multi-taskers and if you process large Photoshop images. I would get the recently-released 9800GTX+ or the HD4850, or if you're getting an SLi motherboard, dual 8800GTs offer the best performance.

So i called the service, but they couldn't change the package they were offering, i asked if i could get a 6gig ram instead of 8. So this is what i got.
First one.
CPU to choose from
E8400 CORE2D 3.0 GHZ 1333 /6M: Price: 925$
E8500 CORE2D 3.16GHZ 1333/6M: Price 1000$
Q9450 Core2Quad 2,66GHz/ 1333 : Price 1125$
Q9550 Core2Quad 2,83GHz/ 1333 : Price 1350$
Specs-
*Chassi: Miditower black CE 2*USB front 4*5,25"
*CPU:Probably the E8400 3GHZ would be enough.
*Motherboard: MSI IP35 DDR2 SATA2 GLAN 8-CH
*graphic: GF8600GT 512MB Tv/DVi HD-TV
*CD/DVD: DVD±RW DL20X (DVD-BURNER)
*HD: SAMSUNG 500GB 7200R SATA-II I was offered to pay another 40bucks for a 750GB.
*RAM: 6GB DDR2/667MHz (3x2048Mb) Slightly lower :/
*Network: 10/100/1000 integrerat LAN
*Soundt: Integrerat sound 8,1
I was offered to change the graphic card to

At the highest settings (all high + 16x AF at 1440x900), an 8600GT won't play Call of Duty 4 at 40FPS constantly. You'll need something like an 8800GT (although it drops under 40FPS sometimes, it still averages about 50-60FPS all around), or an HD4850. That plus my other comments should run CoD4 well.

Again, the ram is too much in my opinion, 4 gb should suite you fine for COD4.. Even 2 will work

Mind posting what site you are buying of?
Or if you wouldn't mind checking if they ship products to Norway?
