| My 20" monitor is good enough. Switching between tasks isn't hard, besides, I only have a max of 6 windows open at a time. As for watching movies, I don't watch HD movies or HDTV. All my movies are 700MB, 640x480 resolution. I'd say it is pretty much of a waste.

Unless you use a KVM. But 2 computers isn't better, it's more of a hassle than anything.
