| Well yeah its fucked and there are colorful stripes and OS is Vista and startup works then when it like loads to the comp it just stays black screen any 1 help??

| Maybe it's your graphic card? Bad graphic can cause colorful stripes.

Well then you need to go back to school, because I can read fine right now. So I donno about you. Maybe the monitor is broken. I don't know much about laptops and I don't even think the graphics card can be taken out. Best bet would be to bring it to geek squad at Best Buy or something like that.

have you installed any drivers lately? i installed a graphics driver on my laptop once and that screwed up the display.
and @ localhost and gribbish: stop spamming about spelling and grammar. localhost your an idiot some times so just don't post.
EDIT: wow i'm so offended now localhost, you de-repped me. you just can't handle the truth, can you?

Is it LCD or CRT?
Try testing with another monitor if you havent already.

he clearly stated that it was a 1 month old laptop, obviously it's LCD, not CRT. and most laptop's i've seen aren't too easy (or cheap) to replace monitors with. so stop spamming and trying to get your post count up.

| I once updated the driver on my graphic card and failed(somehow) and i got color stripes after i booted it up.

If it's one month then it should still be in warranty. Send it back and ask for a replacement.
