I think i might do RAID 0 then for backup. or RAID 10.

Neither. Unless you have a specific need for that much STR such as high-bitrate DV capture, you're throwing money out the window. RAID is NOT a form of backup as I said in my previous post. Get two separate hard drives, and back them up periodically.
If you want speed, get a faster drive like a Raptor. The speed difference won't justify the cost, but at least there will be a noticeable gain unlike RAID0.

Ah, well i just wanted to gain speed for my servers, and many people suggested RAID.

Servers? Depending on their size, look into Raptors for a small server, or if it has a decent amount of users, look into 15k SAS or SCSI drives. RAID still won't help much unless you're serving a lot of files locally, since the transfer rate of a single drive will be far beyond that of your internet connection. Seek times are what matter, especially in a server.

| A 15k SAS drive should work wonderfully. Just remember you'll need to get a SAS controller card as well.

They arenīt really big enough for my needs though... Maybe ill just stick with SATA.
