yes yes without even reading it, it probably has something to do with wine to run the windows program.

But natively, Linux dose not run Windows programs. Even with wine, the programs dont work well or even at all... Especially .net programs or ones the need certain resources...

Well, if he says the program ( he said moparscape, and i thought that was browser based... ) then we can help him from there.

Oh, u are in a bad situation.
Changed to Linux without knowing anything about Linux.

Installing, isnt like in windows (double click, auto, next next yes yes accept next)

Linux is a very exciting operative system, maybe a bit hard to understand at first, but GL!

If u manage to buy WinXP somewhere, I suggest u to dualboot (having 2 operative systems, ex. WinXP and Ubuntu on same PC) http://apcmag.com/how_to_dual_boot_windows_xp_and_linux_xp_installed_first.htm
