Ok so optical drives are all 100% install free with windows 98 and up. Upon degrading my pc from vista to xp, my dvd-rw became a dvd-ram and now it cant write to the cd on its own. I was just wondering if theres a way to make it do it.
if not just point me towards a easy to use but not nero big program to burn with.

my dvd burner on this laptop i'm using now is shown as a DVD-RAM drive and it burns DVDs fine.
and why not nero? nero works fine. but you could also use imgburn, it's a small freeware application but it works well, especially for burning movies. _________________
