Well, more or less if you don't piss the wrong people off or download lots of files, you're fine. Most sites with "explicit" content have alot of viruses that will install themselves without you noticing. What sucks is that they usually re-create themselves without you noticing, either.

| I'm sure it's a virus. It keeps terminating explorer.exe to screw up the user. But, explorer.exe's nature makes it always restart itself. I would recommend a format and a clean install. You really don't need an AV if you're smart. Just don't go around downloading and executing random .exe's.

I somehow ended up getting this, whenever I right clicked, explorer would crash.
Turned out to be the fucking SVN client I was using. Got rid of all its shell associations and it's fine now.
