I have a file thats only a little different from the old file,
its 400 mbs large, so I really don't see a reason to have the few people redownload the whole file.

What program can I use to patch my file so I can just give the 10-20 mb patcher out to the users instead of uploading the main file?

Most Game developers and huge companys ( Photoshop or something ) but in a little thing onto there programs so when a new release/patch/security change is released, people can just click update.

This might be pretty sophisticated stuff... So i am not totally sure.

its not all that complicated,
there are programs out there that look at old and new file, create a 3rd file that lets it know the differances that is much much smaller then the large file (most people doing what I do have a 400 mbs file and a 5-15 mb patcher)

I just need to know a free one of those programs

i googled this just then. one of the programs there should do what your trying to do. i haven't tried this before but it should work.
