There's no point to get rackmount cases unless you're running multiple dedicated servers.

Liek, the rackmount servers you buy are for racks like this thingy:



Basically you plug up a bunch of rackmount servers up to it and they share data or something.

So, if you're just going to buy 1 computer, I won't really recommend a rackmount case.

.... of course i am going to be buying atleast 5 of these at the moment.

No they arent going to be dedicated servers.

and im going to be storing them in a data center...

Meaning, you shouldn't get a rackmount case unless you are going to buy more than 1 of them.

Your motherboard might not be able to support your CPU (under CPU type in the motherboard, CPU is 45nm, limited FSB support on the motherboard), so you might have to change to an Intel Xeon processor.

Also, you might want to look at EPP RAM (server RAM) or something, I can't remember the name.

Na, even if you do buy 1.... You should still get a rackmount

my colocator gets angry if i get like a 4U tower or some shit.
