It's not much of an upgrade. A Q6600 + HD2600 on a 21.6" = horrible gaming performance.
The CPU might be a good step-up, but the GPU isn't much better at all,in fact, it's just as slow as your previous choice.
You can survive on a lower power supply (400-500W is more than enough), it'll save you money on your power bills and on the overall cost of your computer.
Overall, this "better" computer is actually worse than your previous choice, in everything that demands a good graphics card. Even if it's a quad core processor, the majority of computer games don't support more than 2 processing cores (although eventually they should support more). It's mostly due to no upgrade to the graphics card, but an upgrade to the monitor size, which increases the number of pixels your GPU will have to fill. The graphics card is terribly underpowered, you'll need something 2.5-3 times faster in order to get a computer that won't have parts that bottleneck the rest of the computer. You'll find only a few programs, like WinRAR decompression to be faster, but that's about it. _________________
