Hello everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my computer. This computer sucks so bad it's not funny but because of advice from other people and the fact my mom won't let me spend the money i have to buy a new one, ill use what i got for upgrades . Atm it only has 512mb of RAM so i was thinking of upgrading that. 1or 2 gb of RAM is what i had in mind. Also I was thinking of getting a graphics card. I have NO IDEA how graphics cards working, im willing to spend 100-150 if that will get me a good one, but could someone please explain to me how the numbers affect whether its a better or worse XD. And lastly a new monitor. Probably a 20in. and i don't really know which to get other than one that shows good images and is thin like the newer models Razz

What are your current computer specifications? Also, what operating system are you running? It will help determine what parts you should upgrade. You can find this out by downloading CPU-Z, Everest, or running the DirectX Diagnostic tool (Start > Run > dxdiag).

Are you a heavy gamer, light gamer, or not a gamer at all? If you aren't really sure, then list the games you play.

Do you have any special needs or uses such as video editing, disc burning capabilities, etc.?

We need more information. Computer specs such as OS and processor. This would help for the RAM. Also needs would be nice as well, that would help determine the video card and monitor
