Apparently, for me, it does.
How do I fix this?

Thats the hex value yeah.

If you want to use it on the net I suggest searching something like Beige color code in google.

What you want is html.

If this is happening while editing images, try changing the color mode.

Image -> Mode -> RGB Color

You might want to try changing your monitor settings (Contrast, Brightness).

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest checking the color profile for your monitor/video card in the display settings.

Only thing I can think of.
