Cheat Engine

Haruhi Suzumiya.

I just formatted my dads computer and the internet was working perfectly before and now it just does not...

What i noticed was that before the formatting there was a Local Area Connection before that is now gone. It looked like these.

Im guessing i have to install this? But how? I was not given any cd and it was there when the computer was bough.

Did you disconnect the cable wire when reformatting? Which company gives you internet?

I had Optimum and they give you a disc... TWO in fact. One for USB and the other one for something else (I think registering). Is there a socket in the back of your modem that you don't what it is? It's 6 sided (I THINK).

You gotta install some software for some internet things sometimes. Look for some CDs that came with your internet.

you just need a network driver get an intel one of their site any one would work

same thing happend to me all you need is to reinstall your ethernet controller

Are you connected through Ethernet or USB?

If it's Ethernet, you need the driver for the Ethernet card in your PC

If it's USB, you need the driver that came with your modem. It should have came with a disc, but you can almost always find the driver on their site as well.

If you have your motherboard CD it should have an installer for that on there. If you just bought the computer already put together you should've gotten a CD but I'm not sure if it would have the drivers for it.

If you don't have the CD/it doesn't have the drivers, go into device manager (right click my computer -> properties -> hardware tab -> device manager) and scroll down to network adapters. Double click on it to open it if it isn't already and there should be a list of ethernet cards in there. Look for intel pro something (can't tell what it says in the picture) and if its in there right click and update driver. If its not in there, google your ethernet name.

I think the name of your ethernet card is Intel(R) Pro/100 VE network adapter. Or something similar to that.

I might just be rambling but I think that's your problem....
