ok my labtop is windows XP but it dosent reach the minimium requirements for it and i want to downgrade to windows 2000 but it wont let me. It says this is an older version of windows and instal function wil be disabled. Can anyone help me?

Backup files, reformat the hard drive and install Windows 2000.

Insert the Windows CD, restart computer, change the first boot device to the CD drive, and it should take you from there.

What websites say and the truth are a lot different Cheetah... Those are probably just the specs to install it. You wouldn´t be able to open a program with those specs.

actually my bro uses a crappy p3 with only a few gb of hdd space and xp runs fine on it. he only uses it for word processing and the internet and it works like a charm.
