I have recently reformatted my computer because of a virus and i had a "mixer" on my computer and now it is gone and I was wondering how to get another one...

| Are you sure you have your sound drivers installed? Download CPU-z and look up what your sound cards name is, then google for drivers.

Just google it, download, install, run. It tells you your system info's.

The program I meant was SIW, System Info something. ^^ Download that, sorry ^^ No installers or anything though.

| Seems like you already have drivers installed, don't know then tbh, my guess would be to reinstall them but I can't even see manufacturer or something. =\

you don't always get a mixer by installing your drivers, sometimes they're extra programs on your drivers disc. and if it's not very important don't worry about it and be more careful with backing your stuff up next time.
and next time you want to see if your sound drivers are installed, go to "computer management" by right clicking my computer and clicking "manage". no need to download all of that extra crap that safko told you to. that way you can check for sound controllers and if you see a ? icon then that driver is not installed (windows would prompt you anyway and you'd notice if you had no sound).
