Haha, this is a very stupid virus. I know because i had the same one yesterday.
Very easy to remove.
First of all this virus will install a fake av called malware protector 2008.
Its is hidden in program files.
delete it.
Then if you are like be, it will also install a bsod or bug screen saver in system 32 folder . delete that
Then after open regedit and delete all traces of it and you are good.
The creator of this virus a moron. He couldn't even hide the process in task man.
edit 1 :BTW, what site did you browse to get this virus ? I got mine browsing ragezone.
edit 2: it also deletes your desktop and screensaver tab from the desktop properties.

If it's a "very stupid virus", then, why were you a victim of it too?
Haha, not going to answer me? Don't know what to say?

the file from system32 would be the screensaver file.
Did you get a wierd screensaver?
Theres a auto cleaner but i don't know if it works well since there are so many of there viruses with different folders.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
C:\\windows\program files\lphc3t6j0ep0t
i'm guessing that is it. It generates a random folder everytime.
Get process xp
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
very helpful program when trying to find out where each process is running from.
AFter you delete that folder, you need to delete the thing from the registry or you will get an error everytime you start your computer.
Finally, report to ragezone admin ( i would but i'm too lazy)
Thank god i know for sure thats its from ragezone( pop up when you click on a subforum).
Very easy to delete. If you need help just ask.

First download processxp and list all the forein process that you have just gotten from the virus. Because i can't remember all of it to help you.
system32 files is the screensaver
forgot to tell you, but this virus deletes your desktop and screensaver tabs from the desktop propertie(place where you change background and stuff).
Search on google on how to enable them.

You know, some viruses/trojans/etc do delete system restore points.

And then, why are you replying to my reply?
Just because I replied to your "IN NEED OF HELP, BECAUSE I HAVE JUST DOWNLOADED A VIRUS!" doesn't mean it has to be related into helping you, I'm actually referring to a reply replied to your thread ... not you.
