CrystalXP themes: Safe or not?

Hey, I'm searching for a vista skin for my xp computer, but I've heard crystalxp skins replace system32 files and if you delete the programs the files just get deleted and your computer stops working (duh).

So, basically, Is CrystalXP 100% safe to use?

Yes. It is, I use Vista Inspirat from CrystalXP and it's perfectly safe. When you uninstall it replaces the files and your fine.
