I try to download and install MVC++ 2008 Express, but it always gets to 54MB right away, and then the installer says 'it automatically shut down because one component could not be downloaded'.
Does anyone know what's wrong?

| Have you tried clearing all of your temporary files with the disk manager?

And your post was unnecessary.
And yes, I've defragmented.
I think I'll just download the portable version, if I can't get the full one.
In all honesty, waxxup, you're very immature. Not only was I not asking you, in particular, but you also know nothing.

Why don't you manually download the ISO or IMG file and install from it ?. The auto-installer might be buggy.

I didn't mean defrag. Theres a tool which removes pointless stuff and temp files.

CCleaner? I tried it. It removed everything, but I still get the error. Anyway, thanks for the help Noz, but I'ma just get the portable version that doesn't require install.
