OMG! My friend told me about this, and I looked it up, and its all true!

You can swipe your credit card right up against the table, and pay for whatever you want in literally seconds.

Yes it is a "computer", so it does relate in this forum section.

how do you suppose it would read digital cameras, phones, ipods, etc. by just placing them on the table? unless they've got something on the back of them.

actually no because I once saw a video of it in action and when someone put a glass cup of coke, the table turned brown and had an animation of flowing liquid and bubbles exploded from where the glass was placed on it. It can also interact with non-electronics.
