*I solved it. kthx.

Hao?
Disabled DHCP client and DNS client.
No moar hang.

This shit is pissing me off.
When I boot, I have 100% CPU usage. svchost.exe shows its using all of it.
I have serious hang times. And sometimes I just can't come back from it.
I figured it might be a driver issue or something.... Rolled some back. To no effect.
Installed and ran NOD32[didn't have it installed]. It removed an infected item, but it didn't help any.
If it helps... Everytime I run any form of media, it goes fucking retarded.
Music or Video. Then I'm stuck watching the same episode of G-Gundam.
Right now it's alright, but its going to hang soon.

During boot, get to Task Manager and see if the comp. is running any processes that you don't want and kil the process.

Already doing that.

FFS, I boot with all but the nessecary[sp?] windows components disabled.
Its fucking garbage. I'm still hanging.

Right now I'm not.
I rolled back a driver... Unplugged most devices....
Removed alot of shit. It must of been a conflicting issue because I swear to god..... That shit was raping me.

Still.
That doesn't explain the inevitable hang when I open media.....
......

TL;DR?
Not running anything I don't want running. I'm always watching that.

It happened to me before too. I tried googling and came upon this gude. So I tried installing the fix but it didn't work, so I read more and noticed that it had something to do with automatic update. So basically, disabling Microsoft's automatic updates solved my problem.

Oh, I also had a process named wuauclt.exe that uses up a lot of CPU usage. It seems to be gone now after I disabled auto updates.

Need to finish my G-Gundam, Yu Yu Hakusho and Orange Box torrents first.

I never have WinUpdates running. As soon as I format, I update then I disable the components WU uses. I never have it on. I put it back every now and then to update, if there are any.

Solved. Disabling the DNS client did the trick.
