I think this is the right place to put it... I need help decoding this hex, i tiried googling hex decoders, but none of them seem to work with this particular hex, maybe its a differnt code or something?
Could anyone give me some links in advanced hex decoding?
The hex is:
00 00 00 44 00 07 01 F4 00 0E 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 0E 01 01 00 00 00 06 00 14 00 00 21 7A 00 0F 00 05 70 75 72 73 65 00 14 00 08 3C EC 00 0F 00 05 70 75 72 73 65 00 14 00 00 00 0C 00 29 00 08 3C EC 00 8F
Binary:
00000000 00000000 00000000 01000100 00000000 00000111 00000001 11110100 00000000 00001110 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000001 00000000 00000000 00000000 00001110 00000001 00000001 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000110 00000000 00010100 00000000 00000000 00100001 z 00000000 00001111 00000000 00000101 p u r s e 00000000 00010100 00000000 00001000 00111100 11101100 00000000 00001111 00000000 00000101 p u r s e 00000000 00010100 00000000 00000000 00000000 00001100 00000000 00101001 00000000 00001000 00111100 11101100 00000000 10001111

Uhh, you seem to have the right text.
If you don't get it, each hexadecimal byte stands for a character; you take the ASCII of that byte (although you may want to do it in ANSI as well, just for safe keepings), and you get a character from it. You add up all the characters, and that's your result.

Well, I got "D¶!zpurse<ýpurse)"
However, I don't think this is a conventional encryption method. This could be on purpose, or it could be someone's bad programming.
What's this for anyway? Maybe that could help.

What's the bet that he's managed to get someone's password packet and is trying to decrypt it?

I'm thinking he's trying to packet edit a card game.
Everything means something different depending on what's interpreting it. You're game or whatever probably has some proprietary way of interpreting that that no other program does.

So your saying that "purse" is just a coincidence?
P.S. I'm not saying that it's not.

Its a java based (MMORPG) ame I'm tring to hack, the purse stands for the amount of money in your pocket, and the packet is "paying" money from you to another person. However when I send the packet over and over, it takes from the senders pocket aswell, so what i'm tring to accomplish is to get rid of the part where it takes from the senders pocket and just gives poe to the reciver
Edit: and if it is a specific code just to that game, is there any way to decode it?
