Try this then...
1. Go to your Desktop
2. Right Click "My Computer" and choose Manage
3. Click "Local Users and Groups"
4. Double Click on Users
5. Double Click the user account name that you want to set a new password for.
6. Untick "Password Never Expires"
7. Now tick "user must change password at next logon"
Now apply the setting then logout and log in, change the password.

But that only applies to your own personal comp. If you use a school's one. You can't do that.

the computer that you have the admin password for is it one of the schools computers?
is it or was it ever part of the network and did it get access to internetnet and stuff when logged into your own user account?
does it get network or internet access on the administrator account?
if all these are yes then cain and abel should work fine just find out what your default gateway is then use cain and abels sniffer to sniff all the computers on the network then resolve the hostnames.
after you do this press the arp tab in the sniffer and press add, on the left pane select the default gateway ip then on the right select all the ip's shift and click.
and do this for the 2 dns servers ips also, then turn on arp poisoning and watch as people log onto the network if your school is like mine you will get people logging into the mail server which gives their password in plain text, which will most likely be that users login password also, (stupid people using common passwords) then you'll have a teachers login name and password.
if you know that this person has administrator access on the server then you could use cain to connect to the server and install abel and dump all the hash's on the network then crack them, they will only be LM Hash's.
this all worked fine for me, i was able to get the administrator password for both servers using my teachers logon name and password. |

cain&abel doesn't even install. It says "corrupt installation" or it doesn't load, on all of the computers I use. |

you need administrator rights to install cain and abel thats why it says corrupt installer, once you login as admin the installer will work fine.
to get the local administrator account
download ophcrack and try crack the password hash, if oph says the passwords are empty then they should just be blank to logon but if oph doesnt crack it then the password includes symbols
or
download ultimate boot cd or winternals erd commander and use their built in password changer to change the pass of the local admin then login, install cain and abel and use LSA secrets to find out what the password was before you changed it and change it back.
for this to work you will need a pc that none of the teachers will be able to see, or one that they dont look over to often, remember the network admin cant watch you while you using the live cd's but they might be able to see what your doing when windows is loaded up, im not sure how your school is setup. |

If they use XP, do Right click->Run As and make sure the "protect my program from unauthorized access" shit is checked and you can pretty much do anything.
Thats how I run taskmgr at work anyways!

oh your at home i was assuming school..
ok well im guessing the account you login to is a limited user account if thats the case then you cant really do anything on that account you need admin.
download ophcrack and burn it onto a cd.
put the cd in and tell the pc to boot from it, and choose the default option (start ophcrack in graphical mode).
when it loads up press tables and choose the alpha numeric tables and press ok.
then just press launch and it should start trying to crack the password if it doesnt work then its not a normal password.
or
if the computer has a floppy drive there is a boot option called dump hash's or something where it will display all the hash's on the screen and then gives you the option to save them on usb drive or floppy disk if you do that and pm me the hash file i can crack it for ya, try the method above first and mess around. |

We're using novell as well, pretty easy to play games etc if you bypass the proxy blocks. |

First, if anyone go to example: C:\Documents and Settings\ can they see the invisible account and your pants go down. To prevent this, Right click in the user folder and select Properties. Now, in Attributes, tick stealth.
Now, accept and go to Tools, in the top of the screen and now Carpet Options. Go to See/Look tab and select "See hidden files and carpets."
Now, only in the account you make this trick only can see the folder.

Same for me, but i actually tried it and it doesnt work so yeah... but on my dads computer (which is also protected its actually his companies and it works so great job.)
