Well i mean i dont ask many questions or try to do anything with web stuff here just because i look at this section more like programming as in regular programs. i mean lets ask DB to try it out for a month and see what happens. if it dies then ok bye bye bad idea but if it turns out good that would be cool right? how could it hurt?

First off, there's not enough posts about web design to really need a new section,

http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewforum.php?f=47
well then we should close that sector

and web programming is far away real programming

Web Programming is definitely real programming...

If it wasn't it would not be called web programming.

That section is there so that when someone finds an advanced technique for doing something (or something like that) they can post it there, and people can find it, without being bumped down with the pointless shit that the regular forum is being polluted with.

Also, web programming is programming; although C++ may be far away from HTML, they still have to do with the art of writing programs for a computer (Wikipedia).

I think that there is no point in a web design section. At least not yet.

Currently, there are hardly any posts/web design related things in here for its own section.

If it does start getting more posts, and it does become an active topic, then i think we should get a section for its own. But for now, no.

I don't think you guys realize that having this subforum would promote more posting of this topic.
I would gladly volunteer to set up a mass resources thread, but I wouldn't do that in General Programming because it's just too vague.

Why wouldn't they just post it here, though? That's what I don't get. I think you should post some web stuff in the stickies, Super Chicken and see if more people get interested.

Because it's just too vague.
I have other places to post it, places that are dedicated to web design.
Get my drift?
