Why not try searching around Google or Yahoo! for tutorials and guides? The most amount of help can pehaps be found there.

Connecting to an FTP server is extremely different than setting up your own FTP server...

I am not sure what Operating System you are using, but if it is windows... Good luck! If it is Linux it will probably be easier.

Anyways, i am assuming you are a Windows user. So, basically install the FTP thing... It is probably simple and you just have to click Install and fill in some simple questions...

Go to your router. In Application type "FTPd" type in your IP "192.168.x.x" not like 66.453.342.23. Click Enable...

DONE! It is supposively setup.

Trouble Shooting:
*Try to connect to it:
- Open up your favorite FTP client. Type in the IP and the port your forwarded it to.
- If it does not allow you to connect you could have some simple or serious errors... Continue on in this guide...

*Try to connect to localhost:
-Localhost is what you are going to substitute the IP for... remember to use the normal port your port forwarded with.
-If it works, then you fucked up on your port forwarding.
-Else, you fucked up on the install.

DONE
