First off, do you want to expend your entire budget and build a top end computer good for the next few years, or keep your spending low-ish and build a mid-high range computer?
How big is your monitor?
What games will you be playing, games like COD4/Crysis/etc.?

i would go with a mid range inexpensive computer. i have a cheap laptop n ive never had problems running any games so far. also, if u get some crazy expensive computer ull be good running games for now but u gotta remember tht it wil look like a piece of crap after a while cuz those last long ebough for something better to come out.
