Okay, yeah... I suggest getting around 1-2GB more...
Also maybe a new graphics card? Thatd be a good idea...
Also, clear all the crap off of your computer that you dont use.
Virus scan. It might not seem like you have one, but you might have one running in the background.
defrag.
System Format (i love doing this) if you dont have anything important on your computer. I formatted my computer and it ran so nicely i almost cried (ran like brand new) _________________

Why would you have all those games open at once? That's a reason why your computer isn't running as fast as you would like. I suggest two 9800 GX2 8 gigs of RAM on 64-bit Vista. Some kind of quad processor and a souped up motherboard. All over-clocked by like 100% Ram is basically what is used to transfer stuff to stuff inside the computer. There is no use trying to shove a lot of memory through a bottleneck, so make the bottleneck bigger. _________________

| Go to control panel -> add or remove programs and look for things that take up lots of space but you dont use anymore, then completely remove it from the computer. |

First off clock frequency (GHz) is not a measurement of performance, to say get a 3GHz processor has no meaning.
If you want to improve your gaming performance, a new video card will bring the biggest improvement. |

GHZ isn't a measure of performance but it is a measure of speed. The higher it is, the faster your computer will "work in" Add that plus ram equals you opening folders better. Or just go to your control panel and control what processes are on and turn off unnecessary ones. _________________

MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT DELETE ANY CRITICAL SYSTEM FILES!!! this will take a really long time, but i freed up about 5gigs on my computer at the end. also you can try ccleaner, but that deleted some sound config on my comp so i had to redownload a driver. |
Don't do this.
Do This:
