ok, so ive got Spybot S & D on my Vista computer, and i keep getting this entry in system start-up called

BMa326d27d

and i delete it, try to disable it, move it nothing works. so i went to the directory of the file

C:\Windows\System32\fdpfhcfy.dll

again try to change it in anyway possible, nothing works.
so i ran McAfee, came up with nothing.

So i guess im just asking if its a dormant virus or active, and if i need to do something about it.

Help would be appreciated, thanks

Run regedit and search in the system for it, delete everything to do with it.

Also, go to...

Control Panel> Administrative Tool> Services

From there find the tool doing it (Spybot) and go right click> properties> disable.

That should do it.
