every time i try to go to myspace.com, my browser loads the page a little, then it stops and just stays blank. ive tried three different browsers(FF, opera, and IE). whats my problem? its been like this for 2 days and im starting to suffer from withdrawl symptoms.

EDIT: i let it load for about 10 minutes, and it finally showed up. what can i do to speed it up? every other website is fine...

not only is this pathetic, your blaming it on the browser... It is weird though because it just worked for me.

am i blaming it on my browser? nope. i simply stated that i tried to solve my problem by using a different browser cause i know if i didnt, someone would come over here and tell me to try a different browser. its a problem with my computer, i thought that was obvious considering that im in the computer talk section.

and yes, it is pathetic.

EDIT: i tried to go to myspace a few minutes ago in opera and just left it alone and i noticed that its slowly loading cause the number of loaded pictures in the status bar is increasing(although i see no images)

There is an add that sends a virus to your computer.
Luckily I have an addon for firefox which blocks nearly all ads called faggot Plus. If you find an add you can simply right click faggot it.

My old ISP used to block 1 or 2 sites.

depending on the time of day and the day.. you know there are like millions of people accessing that website simultaneously, so it might be a little slow sometimes. And besides.. myspace is gay as fuck.

As the server load increases as more and more people log in at once it tends to slow down even to a tremendous point. 8/10 times slow loading is from server loads and has little to do with your actual computer. Also saved cookies and corrupt cache can account for problems like this, It was already mentioned but clear your cache and cookies and restart your browser and that can help otherwise I am sure it is just the myspace server. It is most likely this if other sites load fine just not myspace.
