Well its hard to build a computer for someone you know nothing about.
For all we know the only thing you do is check your mail and right documents...
For all we know your a hard core hacker/programmer who multitasks 24/7 and fills up 1tb of HDD in a second
For all we know your a gamer and all of the above... Who knows?

| If you can't at least piece one together one on your own, then you shouldn't be building.

But get genned up on info about components at least to a certian degree.
This means that when you go to someone else to custom build one for you, or you go out to buy a pre-built one, you can then make the most informed decision available to you

Okay, well, I was hoping for an AMD processor.
8 series nVidia graphics card
I know nothing about mobos.
Uhm memory doesn't really matter, as long as its above 80gigs.
I don't really know much about computers, but I have a friend that said he would build it for me, if I purchased and bought everything I wanted.
Yet, since I don't know much, I wanted to ask here.
Thanks everyone who has said something though.

No probs.
Btw, don't get an 8-series card unless you was thinking of an 8800GT or higher. Get a 9600GT, its the best mid/mid-high end card there is out. Awesome price for what you get

Well, 9600GT it is then. I'm sure you know more than me about these things. So, thank you. =]
Btw, are you going to give me the build?

Well i have to disagree... 8800GT > 9600GT... You see 9600 is new... 8800 is old... 9600 is low-end... 8800 is high-end
PS if you really want to be cool, get the 9800GX2
What do i suggest?
790i motherboard
9800GX2
Intel Q6600
750w+ PSU
500gb Western Digital HDD
4x 1gb of RAM (Crucial Ballistix or OCZ)
Antec 900 case (This case in AWESOME!, fans = win, wire management = win, space = win, win = win...)

No bam2550, you read me wrong, I said UNLESS you are thinking of getting an 8800GT (meaning its a good choice, but more pricey) then get a 9600GT as its cheaper but awesome value.
The rest of the system yeah, except it may be too much cost-wise mate. You have to be realistic

Go easy lol

| Well, I'm probably not going to do dual graphic cards. So, in that case, which graphic card would I want to purchase?
