hi guys once again i have a problem Razz

the thing is that it doesnt work whenever i pass the mouse over Start or the tabs of the programs ur using (in the taskbar) or even the little icons (as msn or the antivirus, well u got my point) its not clickable.

So i restored the system to a specific date and it worked but for a limit of 3 or 4 days and i cant do this all my life or till i am bored and buy a new computer so can anyone help me?

The task bar is part of the process explorer.exe, make sure its running fine.

Sounds like some malware or a virus is preventing it from working correctly.
Either that or something running memory and doesn't like explorer.exe.

Search google for "HiJackThis". Run the program, get it to save a log file and send it to me. I'll let you know if you've got anything untoward on your PC Smile

Ok firstly 'xenophobe' don't post unless you've got some advice. Thats the 3rd time I've heard you say the say thing. Its not right to tar everyone with the same brush, not everyone here is registered up to flame or generally spam the forum with pointless stuff.

Right back to topic...Ulhin... you're PC is clean. You're not infected, at least not in all the major areas.

What I would suggest though is that you be careful around vista transformation packs.

Xenophobe; do note, there are quite a few people who visit this section who are good with Malware, and since HiJackThis is quite detailed, it's not hard to check it for problems. He can ask for help here if he wants, and if we fail to help him, then he can attempt to get help from another site.

Its not a case of 'if it will work' or not...I simply posted my advice.

Taking out unneeded or unused startup items can only seek to improve your system performance. Whether it solves your other problems is completely unknown. I don't know enough about your current PC to help with any problems as a result.

Take my advice or don't...either way no worries. I don't give advice for rep, I do it to help others...the respect is good enough for me mate Wink
