Hello, i have been having a problem with my computer, few days ago i turned on my computer and the taskbar didn't show up, explorer.exe was opened too, and i could see my desktop icons. everything i opened like windows media player or cheetah bot went outside my monitor, i maximize it and it doesnt show up. :S i started my computer in "directory services restore mode" where your computer starts normally, just with the taskbar in windows xp classic skin, with desktop as black background. But im getting sick of running my computer like this
Another problem is, my computer started to have an error when booting up, i don't know what my mom did, but she switched something at the back of the computer but when i ran my 3D online game city of heroes the graphics were crap, now i checked my video card(s) and they are:
Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Grahpics Controller and
NVIDIA Geforce FX 5200. I just updated my drivers for them and my the text i see got clearer, but my nvidia video card is not used...i miss having my good video card i can't even play city of heroes without freezing every 30 minutes. my intel settings exe is named "intel extreme graphics" and it takes away 6 MB from my RAM, meaning its the back up video card.

| sounds like you have dual display setup on your gfx card settings try looking for that option and tell it to only use 1 monitor and change the default to your main monitor.

| go hunting in your bios for a way to disable the onboard graphics, then switch the vga/dvi plug to your actual card.
