I already posted this topic a month ago or something, but i'm actually considering it now.
I have a 360 and I want to play brawl, which thus requires a Wii.
It looks neat and stuff, and when I get bored of playing xbox live on halo 3 I could switch to brawl.
Does anyone have both systems? Or would it be dumb to get a wii when I already have a 360.
(Money is not really an issue... I have lots.)

I agree with you so much, but I would be investing in other things.

I guess I associate the Wii with children and children's games, therefore that almost repels me to some degree from actually going to a store and buying it.
I just need some convincing that it is fun for older people too!

Fifteen is not that old, I myself am sixteen. And the Wii presents games for all ages, not simply children. The preconception of it being a child's console may be from the fact it is made by Nintendo and they made Mario and other cartoon games for kids (I personally still love Mario). However there are still games out there for that console for teenagers as well.

Reasons why not to get a Wii:
-Colorful childish games
-Only like 1 active series of good titles which im sure is boring as hell after all these years (im talking about Mario)
-Sucks
-Not fun
-Equivalent of a gamecube with a little oddly motion detecting stick thing
-looks like crap
-sucks
stay with your 360 and buy some good games, it will be more worth it than buying a Wii.

Well I guess I will grab one.
Now the hard part is going to be finding a place to hook it up in my octopus cord area of the tv room .

Wii is for Children and house mom's. (It's true.)
Just stick with the 360. (Halo 3, Army of 2, CoD4)

Personally, I wouldn't waste any money on a Wii, no matter how much you have. I played quite a few titles on the Wii, and most of them either had no plot whatsoever, crappy graphics, or it was just another Mario game(too many mario games )

It's funny how most X-box 360 players claim the games on the Wii to be unoriginal since they are all sequals. Yet all the games mentioned in the quote above are sequals as well. Thus, I find the argument of unoriginality in the games of the Wii to be null and void when coming from a 360 owner.
Simple facts about the Wii:
#1 Sales top that of the PS3 and X-Box360 (Two million Wii's are sold per month worldwide and there are waitinglists of 6 weeks)
#2 There is no complexity when you first get introduced to the Wii, making it compatible for young and old.
#3 It doesn't focus on graphics, but on gameplay. (and lets be honest, that's what GAMING is all about).
I know the Wii is cheaper than the other consoles, but I find that reason to be a little weak when used to give an explanation about the explosive sales. If I were to want a cheap gaming console, I could've just as easily bought a gamecube for 50 dollars and be done with it. Just face the facts: The Wii is the most successfull Next-gen gaming console at the moment.

Im not saying Wii is "unoriginal" I actually had fun playing the Wii sports, but it's just not a console for "serious gamers". Yes 2 of the games I mentioned are sequals but they are still more fun to play then most Wii games.
Don't get me wrong, Wii is a good console, it's just not for me.
