i am currently trying to learn C++. all i know right now is how to right a simple DOS program that says when you want it to say and how to add comments so i kinda suck at this moment. However, i heard from someone that C++ was a soon to be dead language bc of all the javascript stuff and some new language that is about to come out. Just wondering if this is true....

Well, Python is getting more popular. From what I hear it is extremely powerful. I'm pretty sure NASA uses this due to it's flexible dynamics. Though I have never used it so, I can't say too much. I think that C++ will just evolve into something else, not die out.

Python is far away from powerful. I'd say Python is very handy, not powerful.

It's only from what I've heard other people say. Like I said, I've never used it myself. I know other developments came from Python like E.V.E. online.
