i think for begining you should use

On Error Resume Next
Text2.Text = ShockwaveFlash1.GetVariable(Text1.Text)

or this if u give the variables
Code:
On Error Resume Next
Text2.Text = ShockwaveFlash1.GetVariable("varaible")

then if the variable exists the value will appear in textbox with name text2
